The Earth is formed of water and land.
70% of the surface is covered with water and 30% by land.
The water found can be liquid as in rivers, lakes, seas and oceans or solid as in the ice found in the North and South Poles.
The land can be dry as in desserts or wet as in rainforests.
Layers of the Earth
The Earth is like an onion, made of layers. The four main layers are: the Crust, Mantle, Outer Core and Inner Core. It is also made of three elements: liquid, solid and gaseous that makes possible the existence of life on Earth.
